RACINE — In a passed of winter, it’s good to consider comfortable thoughts. How about fasten a summer stay during a Racine Zoo? Now is a time to pointer up.

The Racine Zoo Summer Camps — accessible to children ages 3 to kids entering seventh class in a tumble of 2018 — offers hands-on educational opportunities to learn about animals and charge while personification games and carrying fun.

According to a news recover from a Racine Zoo, any stay will embody a T-shirt, daily snack, up-close animal encounters, games, crafts, special tours and more.

The news recover says, activities will ring aged favorites like Zoovengers and Animal Outlaws, Super Sleuths, Fossils, Mysteries, and Animal Olympics — to new themes like Animal Patrol, Gonna Go Wild, and Magical Menagerie. Children are certain to have an extraordinary week and go home with new animal contribution and crafts, each night, according to a release.

“Summer stay is a illusory event for kids to take a low dive into charge education,” says Aszya Summers, Conservation Education Manager during a Racine Zoo. “By carrying a full week to try a topic, we are means to build a bond with a campers and build a low adore and bargain for a healthy world.”

 

Camp sessions start a week of Jun 18th and finish a week of Aug 20th. Each week-long event is $165 for stream Zoo members and $190 per week for non-Zoo members. Camps run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The  sessions are singular to 20 campers, so space is limited.
