SPRINGFIELD, Mass. —
Fire officials contend a 5-year-old child was found nonchalant after a swimming pool collision during a Massachusetts summer stay designed to accommodate children with disabilities.
First responders attempted to revitalise a child during Springfield’s Camp STAR Angelina on Wednesday before an ambulance rushed him to a hospital. His stream condition is not known.
The camp’s website says it is open to children and immature adults with or but disabilities. It includes a handicapped-accessible pool with a gradually sloped entrance point.
The city’s parks department, that oversees a camp, did not respond to a ask for comment.
